Started in 1897 in the Netherlands. The Sneek (castle logo) was founded by Douwe Gaastra and this logo became synonymous with the worlds top water-sport brands. Kitesurfing came along in 2002 for Gaastra and continuous development and R&D have pushed the limits every year since inception. A young and very talented international design team creates stunning products every year.
